Forum name change info request

When I visit my profile, it looks like I can click a button to change my forum name. Can we change our name more than once? If so, is there a history of these name changes? Or do we get a clean name change? Does my old name become available for others to use?

Hmm. I just checked again and there is indeed an option to submit change of forum name.
Never knew about it and somehow missed it before.
So, my bad.

Remember changing your name here is not changing your name in the game. In the forums you could probably change your name every second day if you wish, no body would care although some may get confused. But in the game, you need to contact Customer Support to change your Commander's name (I think).

I think that's exactly what you do now, but there's a button for that in your account settings named "change".
It still needs to be approved by a moderator it seems.
And you can do it only 6 times.
