There's not really a good place on the forum to organise or check on events which aren't already in the height of popularity. Player events are going to be a huge contributing factor to ED and they're not going to amount to much if you have to search through the General forum to find the thread again. Having a dedicated forum for player run events will also solve the issue of people requesting that an event topic be moved to different forums which are also less than appropriate.
