I found a really odd planet actually inside the rings of a gas giant. Looks quite cool. Unfortunately I am going to have to open a bug report because it ran over me when I dropped in the rings for a closer look, now im trapped inside it lol.

Lol yikes! I wonder what would happen if you restarted the game in vanilla Elite mode instead of with Horizons? I've sent myself back into space before using that method. Maybe it will sort itself out for you too, if not, if you stay logged out long enough assuming you aren't within the planet's frame of reference, it should eventually pass you by.
Log out and log into vanilla ED .. should solve it.
Can't mass locked and speed won't go over 0.

1) Log out and start your game with vanilla Elite: Dangerous (that is, non-horizons).
2) You will be spawned in your spaceship close to the planet
3) Fly away a bit, quit the game and log into your Horizons account
4) You should be fine
There was a bug once that caused your thrusters to not work after visiting an engineer, and no, it was not because you didn't have power to drive them, it was a bug. The solution was to do the steps I outlined above.
