Found a strange Planet within a System

I found today a very strange System (First Discovery), with a rather Strange Planet and indeed a strange triangular Orbit of the Planet, never seen before for me. If not selected you can't see the Planet, it's totally dark. Due to high gravity landing needs to be done carefully and it emitted a strange sound from the Planet I never heard before. I attached some Pics. It is rather hard to see the triangular path in it's fullest, I even relogged to make sure...probably a weird system and nothing else too it, but strange indeed.

Had to Jump back to the System, there ya go. Looks ok...but once you get closer it shows that weird orbit.

Maybe just a bug or wrong Orbital Path, I am a bit sensitive to such weird things as 4-5 years ago I spend a lot of time in finding more about Raxxla, just returned to ED last week, so yeah.

Orbital lines can look weird or like they have kinks in them when you look at them from close up and at specific, flat angles. Maybe it's just that.

Yeah, I have been Exploring now since 3-4 Days in Deep Space and I never came across anything like that, looked weird, also the planet was alone, over 124'000ls away. Looked very spooky and once I landed also the sound around me was kinda strange as if something communicated, hard to explain.

Around 10 jumps earlier i came across a system too (first discovery as well) which sounded like critters talking to each other or some weird voices. I dunno this game sometimes really tickles without me laughing.

I usually fly with the radio on, listening to music. But when I don't, I notice all the little background noises that are present, and it sometimes really weirds me out. The audio design of the game is really top notch.

Definitely this. I've seen "triangular" orbit lines hundreds of times before. You want to see what's going on with the system, open the orrery view in system map.

Just found another cool Planet which emits a glow. 7 Biological Signals, not bad not bad.

oh wow that looks pretty amazing, i have to admit, despite it was bugged, as if there would be a massive object.

So many times, it's just another system, another planet, another system, another planet. And while exploring, you get really used to all the standard sounds of your ship, your SRV, of the geological features planetside. But from time to time… when you least expect it, you hear something different. Spooky. Eerie.

On a related note: there are some haunting pieces of the "planetary soundtrack" that aren't included on the official soundtrack CDs, sadly.

Hello from Deep Deep Space again! Jeez, by the time I get back home it's gonna be already easter, lol. The Planet in Picture, Space04, looks like an eightball, haha.

Sidenote: Lately, when I jump into a System which has not been discovered I get as lot of beeping sounds coming from my ship, not sure if it's the Scanner or something going off or something alerting me that something might be in the System like good Biology Planets to discover, I just noticed it lately. I discovered already over two dozen new systems for the first time, good fun.

Indeed! The Sound in elite is really outstanding, sometimes it triggers me when doing a search or I fly past something, I really gotta ignore it as I always have a feeling I am onto something, to discover, haha

Damn, found a system with 2x Water World Planets and 1x Earth like planet plus another 2 high metal content planets, nice...
