I just traded in my eagle for a viper, and found an exploit of sorts in the outfitting screen.
The station didn't have the weapons I liked, but I traded in my eagle anyway.
I first sold all my modules and weapons before selling my eagle.
The eagle had 2 gimballed E1 beam lasers.
And when I was outfitting the new viper, behold, I could buy back my old E1 beam lasers. I could buy 4 of them in fact!
So if you have a weapon on one of your ships, and want the same weapon on another ship as well: Sell it!
The weapon is now available in stock as a "buy back". But it remains in stock after the first transaction.
You can buy it back, and then buy them for the other ship too. As many of them as you'd like.
I'm not sure if this qualifies as a true exploit or not. I mean, I didn't get anything for free. I paid real credits for these weapons.
But I did get weapons that would otherwise not be available.
It works for internals and utensils too.
Basically, any module, utility or weapon that you already own on one ship, you can also buy and fit to your other ships.
