I discovered some of these today about 700ly from Colonia. My comp scanner isn't working on them (known bug), so I can't enter them into the codex for this sector. However I still have some cool pictures of them. :)

Yeah the comp scanner is a witch sometimes. I'm about 20kly to the "west" of you and my pumpkins won't register either and locking the scanner is problematic in the rover. I have had some success using it from the ship.

I think I managed to scan pumpkins from my SLF as the SRV wouldn't, but as it was a few weeks ago I'm not entirely sure - it was a suggestion from another post :)

Anemones ("Pumpkins") aren't nearly as rare as Lagrange Clouds, and they have a lot of subtypes. At this point I would assume that any sector that doesn't have any types reported in the Codex is bugged.

I gave it a try today, no dice. I'll just have to wait until they fix it. Thanks though.

This makes me feel slightly better about the ones I found on my second jump after ch4. Didn't know about the comp scanner so didn't try and tag them and now I don't know how to find them again. Hey how.
