Trouble is, whats to stop people from buying a game on steam, playing it through to completion then asking for their money back because they were not satisfied with the content? would be like going to the butchers and demanding a refund because the steak you had last night was a bit tough

Personally don't use Steam at all. Paying for software only to be inundated with advertising seems to be stupid.
