Ugh... What's happened? Just logged in this eve and nowhere near as many data courier missions in Ngalinn / Mainani today. Has this been rinsed too far? Still some, but finding it impossible to get 20 per run even with a board flip.

Lots of the donation missions have turned to donating 'stuff' now too (as opposed to money). Gah. I knew I should have pulled an all-nighter last night. Silly me.

Faction state has likely changed for some or all of the minor factions.

Was working ok a few hours ago, went from ‘None’ to ‘Baron’ for a Clipper and then headed off.

Sometimes you get a dry run or two and then it’s fine again.

Think faction states have changed. Is there anything (reasonably easy) I can do to get them back to Boom or Expansion? I don't really know much about BGS stuff but those seem to be the two that give the most data missions. No idea how you make a faction boom or expand though.

Any pair of Empire systems, in close proximity, and with a small population is likely to generate multiple courier missions between the two, which you can bank up to the maximum of 20 and fly back and forth between the two . However, I believe they cannot provide rank-up missions (as soon as you hit 100% rank), which then have to be sought elsewhere.

It’s probably not worth the trouble, you’d be quicker running a search for other good systems to check up on...

You are mostly correct but fairly rarely they will spawn the rank up mission too, (often courier as well), though, as you say, it is worth heading elsewhere more often than not.

Stop looking for the easy way out, just because you went from a cobra, or a conda or a fdl to a courier, clipper or cutter doesn’t mean your gonna be able use it properly, first off the shield generator itself costs more than the ship, not to mentions armor plating, FSD, thrusters, etc. make sure you consider all of this before getting this ship. Btw the corvette is the master race

Oh another cry baby scared someone will get something easier and faster than they did. And no they won't take away rank from this. There is nothing wrong, or nerfable going on with these spots.

Yeah no kidding it's so old who cares. Why necro this up just to be a Summer's Eve? Oh I know why, because theyre hoping to get it nerfed and pull up the ladder for others. Obviously FDev doesnt care since these places a have been like this for a long time. Even in the slow really grind your way to rank days.

And there is nothing at all to nerf. All this is, is a couple of fringe systems with empire factions. Since there aren't many systems anywhere close all the missions go between the two stations. This is not a gold rush, or exploit or anything. It is simply an efficient spot to do rank grind, without even really needing to board flip at all.

So if anything it should never be nerfed because this is exactly what FDev should want. No board flipping, flying back and forth over and over. Just like they designed it to work..
