Founders World as home - any tips, info re local area, etc?

Finally and just got my Elite ranking with access to Founder's World.

Currently located home system at Lembava for the obvious reason. But my pov only so no derails please - I would prefer 10% all stock vs 15% have to look and check stock.

So thinking of making the Big Migration of all my ships to Founders World.

Anyone basing there able to give some feedback re: local conditions? Not in the system of course, I can check that out easily right now.

I mean like - quality of life for nearby mining, Fed/Empire mission ranking, trading, bubble travel convenience or inconvenience. I don't know enough to know what to ask specifically other than generality at moment.

Am checking it out via scout ship right now but don't want to reinvent the wheel as people obviously based there a long time. Any suggestions / info / feedback appreciated.

Too crowded, I would not make it a home base.
The fringe is cool. More "opportunities" wink, wink ,nudge, nudge.
what is a 100 Ly? nothing. As a Sag A rider I know what boredom is.
Main point : Nice Big Hight tech world, othe Big population worlds nearby, all cool.

Cheers Cmdr's

Speaking as a Founder, I'd say screw'em. Not done anything for me, bunch of selfish gits in my opinion - they say they like you but in reality only want your money.

Instead of moving all your ships.. you could always sell them and re-buy at founders.. the 10% discount will cover any losses (provided you sell modules first).. :)

Don't bother moving there, but use it as a "shopping mall" The mission variety and surrounding systems tend to be rather ordinary and its unlikely you'll need to use the outfitting once you have your ships the way you want them

Fortunately or unfortunately - my mini-fleet, 6 ships, is all 15% discount ships+gear with minor cheap exceptions already.,

And more real anchor, lot of parts are modded so no more sell, rebuy ship just like new at new home. Gotta move the fleet for most part.

Good points. I'm also taking as a benefit that FD will never, ever, allow or implement any Founders World negative - UA bomb, plague quarantine locking out the station and your ships, etc.

With all marbles in one basket, I'd need to spread out at Lembava or just move to Founders World. I reasonably check Galnet but twice before I've had ships locked out because I didn't log on and play every day and notice a coming quarantine. Maybe I am assuming wrong, but I just don't see FD knifing their premier system.

But the surrounding system info sounds like a big negative. I'm all about having nice local stuff to do and Lembava has decent fed rank up, mining areas nearby, anarachy systems to scrounge nearby, and of course the Lembava-Diaguandri-other tech worlds 15% shopping mall.

Hmmm, decisions....
