Is four terraformable planets around one star unusual? (not a system, a single star.) I have seen three now and again, but this is the first time I have come across four in a row.

It depends on the size of the star's habitable zone (ED Discovery will tell you the size of the habitable zone upon scanning any star). I would say it is quite usual and I am pretty certain that I have seen more than 4 terraformables orbitting a single star.
