CTRL+F shows fps bottom left corner.
CTRL+B shows internet data bandwidth being used.

The latest AMD Catalyst Adrenalin comes with a whole host of monitoring options, although Elite Dangerous seem to mess up when allowing enhanced vsync + monitoring.
