FPS Revival and Healing with Artemis suit

Combat Atremis Suit could allow players to play the role of a medic and revive downed players.

It would add a lot to the game experience if the Artemis Suit could be used in combat to introduce a medic support role.

The game should allow players to be revived. That means that players should not immediately die when downed but are allowed to wait to be revived for a limited amount of time, 30 seconds to 3 minutes, depending on the mode.

There are a few options for allowing the revival and healing to work.

  • Biological scanner used as medical device to heal or in alternative mode to jolt someone back to life.
  • Charger Gun in overcharge to jolt someone back to life.
  • A new healing tool.

The current experience is leaving a lot to be desired, as co players are taken completely out of action when downed, and it takes time for them to rejoin the game.
 
Or perhaps introduce an engineering mod that allows healing a team member.
Can we add engineering mods to the suits? :oops:

I have three thoughts here.

1. Make Artemis, suit relevant to ground operations.
2. Add Healing Mechanism to ground ops.
3. Add Revival Mechanism to ground ops.

I imagine your idea is adding the healing feature through an engineering mod to any suit. Right?
 
Yes, I assume that is the way to introduce new/different mechanics to an existing asset.
After all, beam lasers on a ship can be engineered to restore a wingmate's shields already.
