Frag connon V DF missiles

In theory a single frag should take out any number of DF missiles headed your way. Its an AOE weapon so should be the perfect counter for the DF spam. Anyone tried this?

Somewhere a few days ago a dev said they forgot to add a hitbox to the dumbfires - that's why PDT are currently useless against them as well. So no, you wouldn't be able to "shotgun" it out of space with no hitbox.
