Anyone else notice this??
The closer I am to the "wake" I am going to scan, the higher the quality or the larger the quantity, of the data I get. BUT, inside about 500 meters, I get nothing.

AFAIK the only data I have ever received from a FSW scanner is CMDR name and destination system. o7

Nope. Never noticed. I nearly always scan from the maximum range of a scanner engineered for range. 17 ships with g5 FSDs. It's just chance.
