Has anyone had much luck with it when following another player?
I've followed a few tasty looking targets through hyperspace only to find nothing there when I get to the other side.
I suspect the following :
I'm arriving in a different instance.....although I would have thought that using the scanner would try to match hunter and target as if you were friends. Can anyone confirm this?
I'm simply too slow and my target is very fast......By the time I've scanned and jumped the target is out of radar range on the other side. Certainly could be the case with the tempting ships running with no shields. I imagine they're pretty quick. Also, I sometimes spend quite a long time in hyperspace itself, loading the next system. Very frustrating as I'm sure it's down to my line or maybe my PC.
At the risk of irritating people I'd like to propose a change to the way the scanner works......It'd be nice if you jumped in within range of the target even if they've moved away from the nav beacon.
...just had a thought.....better sensors...larger range?
