Franchise mode: Always in a CC Deficit

Assuming I want to avoid inbreeding, I'm finding it difficult if not impossible to get to a point of being at the very least CC self sufficient, let alone increasing CC due to the limited breeding and having to bring in new bloodlines.

Early in beta I had no problem with this. Later the breeding was slowed down a lot, but I didn't test breeding during that time. I know it was balanced again now for launch, but I just can't seem to get to a stable place.

I just let them imbreed.. i know its wrong but... i mean i needed more CC to be able to afford any new animals so i didn't really have a choice its just not feasible to keep buying replacements for CC and still be able to break even.

having to bring in new bloodlines.

How are you going about this? If it's causing a big problem, you could run three enclosures with three different breeding pairs - this way you always have a compatible genetic group to house offspring from any parent. I am running with two enclosures, which leaves the occasional incompatible offspring that must be traded, but three groups would likely ensure maximum breeding potential without the need to supply new genetic diversity.

At the very beginning I've bought all the possible animals for money. I know, they are crappy, but if to keep the high welfare and species research, the next generations become better and better. Then to avoid inbreeding, I began to buy the cheapest CC animals. They are less crappy, so the third and fourth generations were quite good. I was happy to find some good genes for a bargain. Maybe, a generous player or a newbie. Year 25, I had 5K CC, Year 45 - 15K CC. In the end, I was able to buy good gold genes, not paying attention to price at all.
Having no CC is fun to play, you are forced to think. The more money or CC you get, the less interest you have in the game.

With just two lines you are able to avoid in breeding? I would think you would need at least twice that. Not sure how many generations down you need. In beta I was running around 4 to 5 lion pens, but it was easier because I could get 3 or 4 litters where now I can barely get 1 or 2.
