Franchise Mode - Starting a second zoo - the best way to do it.

Hi there - I can't find a definitive answer to this, but I'm sorry if I'm just being unobservant or stoopid.

I've made a reasonably successful Franchise zoo now, a pot of Money money and Leaf money, and I have some animals in the bank, but my zoo layout is now causing problems because I've got over 7k guests. So I'd like to start a new zoo.

But I'm a bit unclear about how it works - I know my money doesn't carry over, but can I dip back and forth from my other zoo, put my animals there into the Trade Bank and gradually transfer them over? Is there anything else I'm not aware of that I should know before I start a new one? I've put quite a lot of time into the first one and I don't want to screw it up.

Any advice very gratefully recieved. Many thanks.

Yes, you should be able to transfer them over. When I closed my first franchise zoo I had 3 bengal tiger cubs and I've put them in my trade center and was able to have them in my next zoo.

Yes, your money doesn't transfer, and you have to do all the research again. Your CCs are deposited in the whole Franchise, so it's the same amount in every franchise zoo.

You can just start building a new zoo and then return to your old zoo via the franchise menu at any time. There you can put the animals that you would like to have in the new zoo in your Trade Center. Once you have built a trade center in your new zoo, you will have access to your stored animals again and you can begin to transfer them. You can even store more than 30 animals at the same time in your Trade Center for this transfer period, but you can't buy a new animal on the franchise market unless you are under 30 animals again.

I started 7 franchise zoos once my first one was established just to get the steam achievements and I did it by dumping all the current juvenile animals from my first zoo and using them to get the new one started. Worked really well, seems visitors like babies. :)
