Maybe too early since still in development talks again. But it could be a good sci-fi series about humanity having a jumpstart to exploring the galaxy by stowing away on automated ships from an asteroid base found in the solar system. The "Heechee" aliens are mysteriously not present and most of the rest of the galaxy is uninhabited, so it's a "hard" sci-fi world of very few aliens closer to our Elite Dangerous world /w black holes. Psychological story of anxiety and guilt of its main character is a major theme.

Those books and Asimov's Foundation books were my favorite sci-fi when I was younger. I think it'll make a fun series, as long as they do it right (obviously). I love the concept of humans using ships and tech that they really don't understand to explore and exploit the universe.
