Free-Roaming Peafowl

Though this is becoming less common in zoos, it's still fairly normal to see peafowl, guinea fowl, and domestic breeds such as chickens and turkeys as free-roaming animals that just wander about the zoo. In Planet Zoo this is difficult to accomplish because in order for the game to not consider an animal 'escaped' the animal needs to be confined within a barrier.

However, I have been thinking about a potential solution. I wonder if it's possible for the developers to simply make it so certain animals (currently the peafowl, in future maybe others) see the null barrier as a physical force. That is to say, you still build a habitat using the null barrier, but unlike other animals the peafowl can't walk through it. That way, the game doesn't think the animal has escaped, and you can create the illusion of free-roaming animals with an invisible habitat that guests can pass right on through.

Hi there, I also thought about the peacocks. I tried to create a large enclosure.
My next attempt will be to fence the whole park. I do not know how to do it, whether the game recognizes the other enclosure within the enclosure.
But I will find out.
But I had already implemented it very nicely that the guests can walk straight from the entrance to the peacock enclosure without any problem.
I designed a gate from inscribable signs and decoration. Guests cannot get animals through objects. (Unless it is climbable or skippable)
If you were to design natural boundaries (steep slopes, stones, flower boxes) you can make it look as if there is no fence.
You don't need any of these little guest gates either.
I have come a long way through the zero barrier and secured it with a self-designed gate.
A 4 meter walk would inevitably lead to a traffic jam.
You can also make other enclosures accessible, so you should only make sure that the animals cannot enter the path.
However, there is a small mistake with the information items for me.

I know there are ways to fake it already, but it would be nice if we didn't have to, if you understand my meaning. My idea of using the null barrier as an effective physical stop to free-roaming animals is basically so we can still restrict the animals to a certain area and not have them roaming all over the zoo (for example, keep them in and around a picnic area) without having to go through all the hoops.
