Free Silver for New CMDRs

If you fly a Sidewinder and are ranked as Harmless, I'll give you 4 tonnes of silver.

Why?

Because I want new CMDRs to be able to upgrade their Sidewinders with better weapons (or shields, FSD, whatever) and get out into OPEN play, and stay there, with some ability to defend themselves against jerks in bigger ships. This ~24,000 credits should help.

Where?

Just outside LHS 3447 Station.

When?

Tomorrow around 1645 Toronto time.

How much is being given away?

432 tonnes from my Anaconda. I won't be keeping track of who gets what; if you want to make multiple runs to the station to cash in be my guest.

I'm well armed, so don't try anything stoopid :)

Probably best to post this in the Newbie forum? Post here and you'll just get tooled up guy's in big ships after you.

+1 Rep for the nice gesture. I'm just afraid of what may happen to some of the new players that leave the no fire zone. That's if it doesn't turn into bumper car central.

I did this before. Getting the newbies to trust me was tough. You might get more newbies to trust you by posting this, but you left yourself with a whole new group of issues...Good luck and +1 rep for trying

I wonder how one would equip a sidewinder with 24k credits to have some ability to defend themselves against jerks in bigger ships.
Probably heat sink launchers to move in normal space with silent running, but if they interdict you out of supercruise, you are toast no matter what. ;)

... I wonder what happens if someone gets real close with you in the way of the station, and then shoots you?

I'm fully expecting the station to open fire on him and murder you on the way through xD

Wow that was painfull. Anyway CMDR People Pellets, if you are reading this, I hope you were able to pickup and sell all 428 tonnes. He was the only one who took up the offer.

I dont think I will do that again for a while.
