Interesting I got a free Viper MkIV with only 1,500 hours played. I thought the CG was for less than 10 hours?

Out of interest, how did you get this? Was it an in game message and it was waiting for you somewhere?

Interesting - thanks. Will take a look this evening after work - and I'm actually docked at a base in that system too! I figured I wouldn't get one (not beta backer, just merc. edition) but I have a friend who only has about 5 hours in game so he should ...

Maybe 10 hours was off by two or three orders of magnitude, like the stated goals for "Going Out With a Bang" were mislabeled as millions instead of billions. La la la.

Ah, Beta backer, that's why... I checked the galaxy map a few moments ago and wondered why I have a Viper Mk IV parked in Barnard's Star?:rolleyes: Anyway, thanks FD! :)

same here. i only joined the beta late november before the game went live in december :) just couldn't wait to see the latest incarnation after playing the original on the speccy 48K and then on the amiga with a massive 1Mb of memory

Sod's law that mine appeared today, just after i bought one and outfitted it yesterday. Ah well it can join the zero mileage Freagle:)
