I believe that all the Masons have moved to America. There is supposed to be a wall that needs building....

One of my grandfathers was Grand Master of a lodge.... if thats the correct term.

He was probably the Worshipful Master.

Although last I checked masons have to confess to believing in a (further nondescript) higher power. Which I find silly in this day and age. Same with the 'only bros allowed' thing. Got nothing against them, but it seems like a bit of a thing that seems out of place in the 21th century.
You might think so, but if you look at things like 'The old school tie' brigade and how being a member, can still influence how well you can do in life, without any real intelligence or skills. You can see how such 'out dated' institutions can still exist. I also think, that keeping a low profile, is what they do and only attempts at exposure, bring them to the attention of the public at large. Otherwise they continue to remain, what they intent to be, a closely guarded secret.

My uncle was a Freemason until he got cancer and died. Nobody ever asked me.

As far as a Stone mason that will repair your wall for free, good luck on finding one of them.

I think it is Master.

My father is one, quite open about it if asked, but doesn't really go around advertising it either.

This isn't really true nowadays. They are a closed society, which leads to this kind of thinking, but mostly (and apart from their own meetings) they raise a lot of money for charity.

How many real Masons we got playing the game? Reply if you belong to a blue lodge and if your in the SC or YR. I'm a Mason and a 32nd in the SC. Interested in how many we have.

If ANYONE is interested in the masons, there is a great book by the late Steven Knight, called, Into The Brotherhood. If anyone is interested after reading it please feel free to start a thread about it here.
