So I found the gold outside Freeport and went back to sell it at the blackmarket, but there is no option to sell the gold, how do I do this , what am I doing wrong?

I grabbed some earlier and sold at Freeport under the Black Market Tab... Can't see why it wouldn't accept it. Maybe try logging out and back in again..
That seems to be an issue, it was reported earlier - e.g. Black market not buying my gear , there you may also get some hints for a workaround.

Another thing I noticed is I bought some aquaphonic systems or something but no matter where I went to sell them the price was the same I bought them at.

Not many places use aquaponics. Perhaps iBootis? Although it is listed as industrial it also has marine agriculture among its export interests.
Don't the security vipers scan you almost every time you try and dock? and if they find illegal/ stolen goods they shoot you to ribbons right? At least this is my painful experience of picking up cargo that wasn't mine so how do you get around this issue?
Freeport is an anarchy system, so no getting smacked down by station security. Other than that docking fast usually does the trick for me, you can make doubly sure by docking fast AND cold.
