Freeport free-shooting day?!

Hi there :)

Well, at freeport, I got shot once outside the station, in no-fire zone... he was way too fast for me, must have been an eagle (?), I was in my cobra MK3... and then after paying 18k of materials back, starting again... seing players outside and inside station... just had time to save the landing gears, before loosing it all over again :D

What's the local police doing?! Well, it's just beta, but commander, that's an unhonorable fight...

I wrote those 2 cmder names down, they are now on my hunting list :D :D :D C u in space :D :D

I think I met the Cmdr you're referring too earlier.

Ignored him whilst I docked with a cargo of illicit gold. Then again when he attacked me ASD I launched.

Came back and dealt justice outside the station, he jumped out with plenty of hull damage.

You are in an anarchy system.... Fire back if fired upon if it comes to it. I guess I've been lucky so far, but I haven't happened upon any of these pirates everyone has been chatty about yet. We'll see if I am lucky enough to meet them now that I've called upon the curse of Karma :cool:

The guy doing the shooting was just a bored poor pilot. No active piracy, no good game play. Just playing shoot em up until he got scared off.

I quite like the pirates vs vigilantes events at Freeport but this wasn't worth getting excited about.

There's a huge thread about this in the beta forum--starts with Can't leave Freeport...

Some people are being proper extortionists and pirates and communicating with victims, others (and I can't name names) are being proper [tomatoes] and just PKing for the lulz.

Perhaps but its an Anarchy zone and people dont have to go there... plenty of other systems that are safer ;)

Bounty Hunters where are you - its a pile on!!! Its obvious we need some people protecting this station. I might have to visit there myself to see this first hand tonight, I jhave got some stolen weapons to get rid of as well.

There was a real shootout tonight at Freeport -- which I've really enjoyed! PvP against Eagles, Vipers, Cobras. Some pirating in-between. It was great fun, thank you all guys! :D

It will be 2 AM GMT (8PM CST) when I can finally get on and most everyone will be asleep, I hate missing all the action :(

Just stick around, there are always some lunatics there. That's what I love about Freeport. There is always something going on.

Also, I've met a very bored Anaconda today. He said it's his second time in an Anaconda. I've told him to get out and buy a Cobra or a Viper if he wants some action, but he resisted. Sometimes I don't get people. He's got a conda, why not go exploring all the systems available?

Yeah, was great today. Was flying a bit with an eagle and got killed a couple of times...now switched back to the viper. Also had some great dogfights in the belt nearby. Whoever wants to do some dogfighting let me know CMDR Rand Haginen

I flew to Freeport today and ate lasers all the way to my assigned landing pad. My ship entered the "about to blow up" state just as I touched down, with no shields and 0% hull integrity. I didn't have enough money to cover the repairs, so I relaunched, expecting my ship to detonate as soon as I was released. Oddly, my ship became invincible (although uncontrollable) and bounced around the station interior until I quit the game.

Oh yeah you and your brother owe me a Viper insurance cost for attacking me simultaneously. I've written down your names, next time you can pay me in gold or in blood! :D
