Frequency of counter offer USS

Is it just me or this the rate of these annoyingly high. At first i though it was a cool one off, now i collect say 10 missions etc and fly about doing a mix of things it annoying.
Pretty much 90% of the USS i got to before i have the counter offer missions are just that. Only after i have many counter offers can i say find pirates or black boxes etc.

Anyone else find this?

Counter offer USS are the third most annoying thing in the game, right after those lakons offering to buy computer components and wedding and funeral convoys.

I NEVER take the counter offer even if it may make sense. Like we'll pay the same 5k for you to kill 10 authority instead of 10 pirates??? Thanks but no thanks. I can't even pay for my bounty after that and not to even talk about rep loss. Plus the high chance of mission getting bugged making them even worse.

Yup I just had a pretty ludicrous hour and a half running around USS getting these. If you take multiple missions you end up flying around for an hour before you even get the chance to complete them due to these "counter offers".

Yeah it's pretty bad. They show up often, and they reset any kill counters for hunting missions. It's rare NOT to get one, in fact. And I never do them, anyway. Like anyone except new players does missions for money? We all do them for rep boosts and/or permits. The counteroffers are annoying and just get in the way.

Yeah, they need work. I mostly stick to doing my own thing but in the few times I have participated with a USS, I am already getting tired of their predictability. They need to be much more random in their appearance, and they need at least three times the content. A USS should be a treat and not a nuisance.

Count offers are important to the destabilization of a system. You take missions for a faction you don't like, then immediately get a counter offer. It's very damaging to them, from what I understand. Like you guys, I never take them because I haven't been involved in any takeover scenarios, but they are important.

Wedding parties when I'm hunting Pirates... That's gotta go!

I picked up a handful of missions. The first one fulfilled the "priceless art" mission straightaway so I thought I was off to a good start. The next three were branches. The only relief was that since one of them was a pirate and the one offering the alternate was wanted himself, he didn't last long :)
