Friend Request spam for Twitch streamers playing Elite: Dangerous

While I don't get this spam on my own account, as I don't stream, I've seen three streamers getting the same friend request spam from seemingly randomly generated commander-names/usernames. While not a critical issue, it does seem to be annoying. The commanders I've seen getting this (all on Twitch) are Father_Bill, FireyToad and Cmdr_EmulatedPenguin. Is there anything that can be done? I've also filed a ticket in the Support Tracker about this.

The problem here isn't just the requests, but how the HUD displays message notices. The same happens in systems at war, non-stop spam from navy ships. if you go into a galmap and come back out, there's an avalanche of messages. Do we really need to have so much of the HUD taken up by a message notice?
