Friendlies have turned Blue

I've always known it to be the case that wingmates are cyan and my NPC fighter is green when I'm not in a wing but cyan if I am.
Personally I'd prefer my own fighter to always show as a wingmate (with solid square as usual) so I can easily tell them apart from the other friendlies in a CZ.

Why did our SLF and each other show as Green when we wing up then? The exception being last night. It's not just me being daft, TWO of us both had different colours showing last night (Blue) vs. what we usually see (Green) we've played many hundreds of hours, have Winged up a lot over the years yet we were both surprised to see the Blue dots on the Scanner rather than the usual (for us) Green.

Unless you both have a bug no one else has reported, you may just be remembering things oddly.
Friend didn't come online again this evening, so we didn't test that. My SLF stayed green this eve though, whereas it was Blue when I was all on my own last night. I.e. it was already Blue before my friend and I winged up.
It could well be an obscure bug, what are the chances of us both showing as Green to each other all this time though, when this apparently isn't normal? If one of us were to change HUD colours, there's no way that could impact the other is there? I'd not have thought so.
Initially I did indeed think I was going a little nuts. I'd mentioned to my friend that my SLF was showing Blue when I was alone. I'd also had weird issues of Green Federal Security ships causing chaos in a HazRes earlier, that was another new one. Then he logged on and exclaimed "You're BLUE!" he was evidently as surprised as me.
Not ruling out both of us going a bit nuts of course, though Green and Blue aren't colours to mix up easily.
What's the screen-shot key? I don't use the Steam version, just the regular client.

You can use windows default screenshotting to do it if you want, press Windows, shift and S - then you can drag a box over the screen.
Otherwise I think it's F10? F11? dunno. Then you have to hunt for the screenshots folder.
F10 (if not hogged by different software like GeForce Experience).
