Hey lovely people.
Been lurking the forums for just over a week now since discovering ED. Have absolutely no idea how this game evaded me for so long, its amazing! After reading through everything i can find i thought I'd introduce myself coz you seem like a lovely bunch.

GT is iDREWu, playing from Melbourne, Australia. Currently just floating around trying a bit of everything in my aspx with a mate who also started last week.

Welcome to the madhouse, if you ever want to pew pew/trade wing, I'm usually happy to oblige, though I'm settled in a particular system for a week or so before heading out on an expedition... so it may be a while before I'm useful lol :D

Yeah i seem to have an obsession with trying shiny new things as quick as possible. So already been in an eagle, a viper, an aspx, a vulture, a dbx and now back in an aspx to try some trading and a bit of everything haha.

Stay clear of Strong Signal Sources - sometimes referred to as YWD's because You Will Die ;-) Same applies to Distress calls. If you're going mining avoid HazRes locations and choose a location away from existing extraction sites to minimise the risk. If you decide to align yourself with a powerplay faction remember that NPC's of other factions will be more likely to attack you.

Haha cheers for all the kind words.

I've managed to get myself killed a few different ways so far but as far as i know death by plasma accelerator is still on my bucket list.

I'm a bit of a shy one so tend to stick to solo at the moment and only open if I'm winged up with a buddy who started at the same time as me. We've only run into 2 other cmdr's so far while bounty hunting at a RES. Both of them were in condas and instantly tried to pulverize us so we got out of there pretty quick.
