Hello! I've recently become friendly with a local star system and the federation as a whole. I've been three days straight of bounty hunting and suddenly random npc started showing up green as well as star ports. Just wanted to know if there were any included benefits from being friendly with the feds. Cheaper prices, exclusive access etc.

You will get better missions with factions you are friendly or allied with. With the federation, you'll have the chance to rank up.
If it's a faction that has a system that requires a permit, that's one of the benefits too. Not sure about cheaper prices. I've heard that's sometimes the case, but I don't think any trading commodities, maybe ships and outfitting?

I forgot to mention as well, since i am collecting bounties, ive noticed some wanted folks pop up geen but have a bounty on them, any negative effects of taking these guys down?
There's been bugs around that very thing. The thinking is there shouldn't be, both from players and devs. I don't think it's been completely resolved yet but it hasn't personally effected me.
