Friends Matter!

I have been playing this game since launch and one thing that I can tell you that is missing in this game is the ability to fully enjoy this game with your friends.

Yea sure you can make a group, but then what? You don't know where your friends are after you make a group with them and then you can't even be part of the same battle most of the time.
I have been testing this feature where you can go into your friends wake to kill pirates that you interdict, but when I would enter my friends wake after he interdicted the pirate I would not see the pirate
npc that he would be trying to kill. That made it pointless for me to even join his wake he left when he disengaged cruise speed.

I just wanted to expose this to the players and the developers because it is starting to get really annoying.
The developers could also include some sort of way that you can find your team mates in an easy and realistic way. Like a beacon of sorts on the ship that can be activated so that your team mates can lock on to it and track you on their
own radar. It would be made from particular frequencies so that only you can tell the people you would like to keep track of you to keep track of you on their radar. Not sure what color the developers could use to show the friend's beacon signal on the radar. That could be something that can be decided by them in any way.

I think this would bring a new level of gaming for this game and would also be more enjoyable to play with friends.

Well that was one of my ideas that you developers can use if you guys would like.

Depends what you mean exactly, but if you look at your friends list it tells you their system... or you can just ask via the in game chat. Alternately (and until in-game chat tools are improved) you should be using something like Teamspeak or Mumble to communicate with your friends. This way you can find each other easier.

Its been discussed plenty of times already and the devs are fully aware of it. But if you want to make sure they are alerted to in-game issues, forums are not the way. Raise a ticket to alert them to bugs.

Come on man, we all use team-speak, vent, mumble, razer coms, ect... when it comes to communications between players in a game. What I was trying to explain here is to add a feature in the game to find the location of your friends when you are on in cruise or normal speed on the radar.

And thank you for that advice. I will make sure to submit this as a ticket so that the devs can take action and maybe they can implement a feature like this into the game.
