Friends of Jaques - Search for high % Polonium planets

A simple request for the community, we are looking for landable worlds with Polonium content for the time being in the 1-2% range. Ideally we are looking for a theoretical 10%+ Polonium world, it can be anywhere in the galaxy for now we want to collect data on the characteristics of high % Polonium worlds and so we can further develop theories and candidate refinements

If you want to cross reference our community the following link is a reference

I use jumponium heavily so I hunt for Polonium often. The highest concentration I've seen was 1.1% for a Metal Rich planet. I think someone else has seen 1.2%. I don't think you'll find a planet with 10% Polonium concentration. For High Metal Content planets the highest I've seen is 0.7%. Oddly enough I have better luck finding Polonium on Ice planets with concentration 0.4% because I drive very long distances on flat areas just for fun. Metal Rich planets are often hard to navigate on an SRV.

Here are some values I've found on my travels. These are all mats for jumponium.
MR: Metal Rich
HMC: High Metal Content
Rocky/Ice: Rocky or Rocky Ice

CMDR Rhea Lorell.....That's some very useful information, I'm probably going about my search all wrong. I'm aiming for Metal Rich worlds with 1.1% Polonium & finding that the only chance of getting anything is if I find a Metallic Meteorite. I agree that driving a SRV on these planets in search of meteorites is labour intensive.

Iv always passed on the 0.4% on Ice Worlds, I'll give it a go....It's not about the % it's about how good the Polonium actually spawns.

My advice is to never pass anything that is metallic, i.e. mesoderites, metallic meteorites, metallic outcrops. All have similar sounds and all have a chance of dropping the rare mats. There were cases when I got polonium from mesoderites and nickel from metallic meteorites but that's chance.

The chance of getting Polonium is lower but I spend lots of time just driving in straight lines, which forces the game to spawn new nodes. Unlike a tiny potato-like metal rich planet which doesn't have many flat areas.

I drive in a straight line and every few kilometres I stop to give the wave scanner a chance to pick up spawns. This helps with high metal content planets too but I guess I just forget myself on the flat ice planets. Driving 200 to 300 Km in one session is common. In the process I find lots of mats.

I tend to prefer planets that spawn at least two materials I need.

Thanks for the response guys, the search will probably focus and expand from jaques outwards ( unless even a 2.0%+) procedural planet is/can be found its a bit of a lofty goal, has Fdev ever laid out the absolute highest polo planet time that in theory could be possible. Maybe 10% was a little to high, we may find vents and gysers etc in 2.2 could have focused deposits of rare materials which might make finding such deposits a bit more focused and a bit easier.

Anyway JoF will continue our search and all who wish to take part, we are a collective of freelancers and unaligned commanders if that peaks anyones interest ( especially helpful for explorers)
