From Bovomit to Jaques, something of a detour

I was on my way back to Obsidian Orbital from the Bovomit sector, when a little yellow icon in my GalMap reminded me that I hadn't seen Jaques in over a year.

Hmm, 18 Kylies to Obsidian Orbital, or 27 Kylies to Jaques? Well, Black Bess is at 63% hull and minor damage to modules, so I thought, "why not?" It'd be good to see my favourite cyborg again, and what is 9 thousand light years between friends.

Hopefully, I'll be there by mid October (Earth calendar) for a much needed refit (me and the ship ), Black Bess isn't the quickest of steeds.

See you when I get there chaps and chapesses.

Ah, yes, Valiant Turpin, indeed. Defender of the poor, scourge of an oppressive regime. An early proponent of enforced wealth redistribution.

Of course, the Imperial Archive at Achenar depicts him as a villain and common criminal, but we know the truth (as much as anyone can two millennia later).
