I play ED since 4 years and I start ED with Vr. (HTC Vive Pro, GTX 1080 16 Go and i7 7700K)
I spent hours traveling across the galaxy but the visual quality although satisfactory was quite limited and far from the ultra settings provided in the options.
I told myself that the problem probably came largely from the graphics card and so I decided at the beginning of the year a little too for my job to change pc in order to go even further in the visual pleasure with ED . So I bought the following configuration:
i9 9900K
Zotac AMP extreme core RTX2080 ti
Corsair 32GB RAM (4000)
MSi Golike motherboard.
It must have been the dream, but it turned into a nightmare!
Since indeed the images jump in the game (as if I lost images) and the saccade make it completely unplayable.
All other games work including NMS in VR and ED in 2D (Ultra setting), but VR is impossible with ED!
I have already uninstalled the game, the drivers (video, HTC, motherboard), the HTC Vive pro and sure the drivers of the video card.
still the same problem. My processor is overcloked and the memory, so a priori no limitation on this side either. I even came back to the basic config of the proc by removing the overclock. But nothing.
In despair I turn to you who may have experienced a similar situation. thank you in advance
