Newcomer / Intro From sidewinder to what? ( Exploration )

So, i have been doing some time exploring with sidewinder, using fuel scoop, and the basic scanner.

Now total 110k asset, and want to know what ship i should go for regarding exploration.

Also, getting the new scanners, should i get the surface scanner first ting?

The hauler can be made a pretty nice explorer, same with the adder but you need a little more. I'm retrofitting s sides just for a cheap explorer tho. Tiny running costs just a shame about jump range

Why not eagle?

Using my freagle and it's the best of both worlds--cheap as hell to maintain and replace, and comes with three hard points.

Currently upgrading it to the max until I can get a viper.
