Basically, yes...but be aware of SC's troubled history and loooong time in development with little to show for it. It's certainly enjoyable to play as long as you're aware that once you've spent the cash there's no refunds any longer if you decide you don't like it.

I've got a couple of ships..since I've been involved with SC for around 3 years in total with a year out after I refunded...so I knew exactly what I was getting into when I bought back in. Most folks buy in at between $50 -$100 since that $100 will get you a Cutlass Black, probably the most useful ship in the game...a bit akin to the Python in E-D.

It all depends on what you're comfortable writing off cash wise just to play SC. If you're waiting for it to be released...don't be holding your breath as I reckon that's a couple of years away at least.

Right. Well yea I don't really want to oay too much for a buy in on a game that may or may not release. I'll stay in the sub 40eur range I think and just steal peoples ships.

Original post was about Sqn 42 possibly being released on console...not Star Citizen which is PC only. I posted the thread in here since it's a general Xbox interest topic, Star Citizen is not.
