I don't know yet if tomorrow will be the DDay or at half of the week ...but

i am truly excited and enthusiastic about the fact that Elite IV will truly born.

Until now (alpha 1.0) we had a partial game stand alone, great and beautiful but stand alone.
With Multiplayer finally we can fly togheter in space between the stars... woow.. it's a dream come true guys !

Thank you David Braben that has never abandoned the idea to build a game like this.
Thank you Frontier Development for the work you done until now and the work that awaits you next months.

Thanks God i am still alive to see this coming true.

Yes I understand what you feel. Tomorrow is a rebirth. Of course, this is not yet the full game, but as you say there is the multiplayer aspects. It is a dream coming true for a real alive galaxy

From what I have seen on youtube, if your piloting skills are anything like mine, I would say 10 seconds after you are noticed, you can say bye, bye :)

Make sure you Alpha Testers test hard

Play it hard and play it long. Get the bugs squashed quickly, so I can get my hands on the first beta :)

After the final two alpha stages of course.

Hmm although the newsletter does say early next week elsewhere it goes on to say,

"We are releasing Alpha 2.0 at the beginning of next week (3rd Feb) so we will have the whole team available to respond asap to any issues that might come up in the test." So that seem to suggest from the 3rd Mon, not later in the week.

Well I guess we'll see. As for myself I am slowly getting the cash together to build a new PC, for my work and that will be able to run the Beta when it comes out. However I can look on with all those great YouTube vids and twitch streams.

I have taken the day off from work....

I just cant wait.... Hope they launch it tomorrow cause I am OFF from work!!! Even so, I just cant sleep.... its 01.39am now.... hoping, waiting for this new experience which most of us imagined and wished for 30years ago but could not achieve!!!! :D

I agree it is very exciting... extremely exciting... infact if Excitement had a rating... it would be ELITE!!

I still don't consider this stage the true launch.

Its multiplayer but its not he full universe yet, is it ?

What is wrong with "rebirth"?


It's been passed around like a wet squelchy thing since time immemorial. Rebirth just needs a hug and a pat. It'll be as good as new in no time, as long as the guildies forget about it :)
