Seriously. I'm impressed. If you've read any of my most recent posts you'd know I just got back to ED and I'm flailing. A long hiatus will do that as many of you might know. I got Odyssey when it came out, saw that it resembled a dog's breakfast and went on my way. I never availed myself of the Exo-biology mechanic until yesterday. Yesterday morning I was in the bubble thinking about the best way to make a lil dosh to FINALLY put me over the line to get an FC. Now I'm there.
If yer new to Exo like me the watch this vid and Reine will set you straight in short order. I haven't been in the black since DW2. Not gonna lie, the trip out was not fantastic cause I'm a dingbat(just read my threads. yikes)
Definitely watch the whole Vid!
Firstly, It's hilarious, but she also goes through it step by step as to the why's and wherefores so u have the complete picture. I did add one small parameter to her Spansh modifiers for Temperature. I think I used 165k-450k. Definitely check the description for her updates too. It's an older vid, but that is immaterial. It took me about 15hrs to go from the bubble and Zero knowledge/profit to getting a complete handle on the mechanics and making about 300 mil from scanning 7 systems from my list of 60 (I'm 3 for 4, but at least one was a dbl hit). I also scan everything(not necessary). It's just habit from DW2. 15 hrs from zero to hero.
-1 hr fer the vid
-4hrs travel time (yes I scanned stuff on the way out, but not necessary). def coulda done it in ~90 mins.
-6hrs thinking I'd broken my game. Turns out it was me being dumb(as u can read in other threads).
-4 hrs scanning/landing/getting used to the mechanics, UI, Elite Observatory and Spansh etc.
Heading back out shortly, I'll make double that in 1/2 the time if my ratio holds.
Check it out and thank you again to Raine for the info/vid/carrier access. I know how much effort goes into producing a longform vid especially an entertaining one.
