Front decal repeated on side of Mandalay - bug or feature?

Is it intentional that the front decal on the Mandalay is repeated on either side of the fuselage just ahead of the wings? If this is a bug, please don't fix it FDEV.

TBF, they're called "Left" and "Right" decals, not side decals, and are located on the left and right wing, respectively, so all good there

I'm happy to spoil it for you (click on your own risk): there are missing polygons/holes in the cockpit in external view! Once you notice it, you can't unnotice. TBF, Krait Phantom has a similar thing happening
