Frontier Account?

Greetings!

Can anybody please tell me something about the topic "Frontier Account" concerning PS4?

Main questions are:

1. Do I need to create an account (via PC) in advance of the release? If so....URL?
2. Or can all this be done on release day on the PS4 itself?
3. Anything else I need to know?

They stated on yesterdays live stream that you will be able to do it through the ps4 once it all goes live.

Is one method preferable over the other, particularly for us who have preordered? I'm happy to create the account from within the game, as long as it's an easy and smooth experience.

I don't think it will matter Duck, it might save you a bit of time if you already have an account I expect.

I wouldn't have thought so. It's more for those of us that already have a Frontier account due to already having played on XBox, Mac or PC.

Just saw this thread while on my Mac and decided to sign up an account. Took about a minute so lots quicker than typing things out with a pad.

Basicaly it's six of one or a half dozen of the othere. Got time, do it now, or do it later, either way, one apparently has to do it. With the exception of buying their products, really no reason to do it. I will play with stock ships, upgrading from what ever the game itself provides. I've NO interest in buy frontier products except ED and I already bought it from Sony. Leaving me with absolutly no reason to have an frontier account except it's apparently mandatory.

When they offer you that pretty blond NPC copilot lass on the Frontier store, you'll change your tune ;)

Oh yeah, love that, but I'd rather wing it with Harry Potter than my wife, if ya know what I mean. She is or should be the daughter of Cliffton Clowers, knows how to handle a gun and a knife.

if i could have a co-pilot it would have to be ivanova from babylon 5, though a close second place is the vulcan from enterprise. and if i could i would have a beagle in a basket in the corner :cool:

When I link my PSN to my PC account, do I continue where my PC account was left off or do I start a new? Would like the transference of accounts and in hopes of the items purchased from frontier store to be in my inventory, but not a big deal.
