Elite / Frontier Frontier "alike" webcomic, please help

That could be like looking for the proverbial needle in a haystack. I did uncover this website, but as you can see there are 1000s of them. Perhaps something on here could jog your memory http://www.thewebcomiclist.com/browse.php?genre=10
On a similar note, I remember reading fanfic before that involved a 2-part AI ship in the Elite universe. The ship was unique to the story, but it was otherwise based in the Elite universe.
If I remember correctly, the lead character found 1 ship in another's hold and took it as salvage. I don't remember what the ship was other than being sure it had a greek name, possibly based on 1 of the greek myths. I read through it as far as him finding a "twin" ship to it (also with a greek name), and the 2 ships merging to create a new vessel that went off itself before I lost it to a hard Drive failure years ago.
