i read from thread on github about player trying to use DXVK on elite dangerous and get banned for 3 months. but on the same time, using ReShade is kinda ok and don't make you get banned. what i want to know is that player claim true or he just using some illegal mod and get banned.

If you care for a player perspective, I can confirm. I use Wine and DXVK to play, even with async enabled for as long as I can remember, and I'm not banned. The last bit is significant because async is known to cause bans in some competitive games, but in ED it's safe.
