Hi Everyone, I have found a CD of Frontier Elite 2. Using imgBurn I changed it into an ISO file, and burned the file to CD. I have it up and running on Amiga Forever. I wish to share this file with the Elite community, can someone give the e-mail address of one of the Moderators and I can send the file.:)

I cant help initially but it might be worthwhile uploading it to a cloud server if its not breaking any copyright agreements.

Try contacting Synchromesh via these forums. He runs the Elite Forever web page and might be able to put your game on there.

Actually from what I am aware of CD32 games are ok to host...
English Amiga Board are very strict but even they allow CD32 games on their FTP's

I actually have it already if you want it hosted ?

Pity I cant host this :( You would Love It...Click & Play

I made this to keep all my Favorite CD32 games together on 1 Dvd or Installation....

Hi there,

i've got a question about the Frontier version on CD32 : do you need a keyboard to play, or do the 4-buttons joystisk is enough ?

I would like to play an emulate version of Frontier on Android, but the keyboard makes it almost impossible !

you could try a version on dosbox, so not an amiga but a dos version, it's easy to use, but if you can emulate the CD32 version, some will say it's the best ^^ l.

not sure though how you could use the interface without a keyboard or a mouse anyway.
and the 4 buttons on the joystick might not be recognised.
and even so it wouldnt be enough and afaik you cant redefine the controls.
i think i tried with a gamepad, one button did work : fire. all others didnt do anything.

actually i'm not even sure you could play the game without a mouse(target selection, rotate the 3d view of a system).
you couldnt use the autopilot at all, or analyse the hyperspace cloud of a gone target.
you need the keayboard at least for accelerating forward/backward in engines off mode or seting speed in manual control(~assist on).
