not gonna put any thoughts up (already said my 2 pence worth in another thread post) .. but i will ask the community one question... What would you want to honour its 30th birthday in a couple of weeks?

availability to play all 3 elite games from a station concourse terminal (including captain chair on carrier).

that way they can say they gave all the whiners the panther clipper and whatever other ships those games have had ed doesn't. plus atmospheric landings!

I didn't play that one much.

Optimistically peace with the Thargoids so we can join forces against the common enemy.

Realistically a community made video compilation.

How about a high resolution remaster of the original so it looks something like the superb reverse-engineered intro by M. Watson:


…but with the game bugs ironed out (like pirates arriving one at a time instead of in a wing), the graphical burps cured (eg. the flickering planet colours), more stuff on screen (clouds, mountains, buildings etc.) and all the things DB didn’t have time to include - like Bespin-style cloud cities in gas giants. And I’d like to play it on the Switch please 😁

I’m sure there are dozens of people like me who’d be willing to buy it! DOZENS OF US!!! 😅

Suggestion for OCTOBER 2023

Im gonna ask this .. can the Dev team please consider using the Uncle Art Abbey Road 2 theme remakes as additions to the games in music selections? if you msg me i can hook you up directly with David Lowe to set it up. but as a fan of Elite and Especially Frontier Elite 2 since its 30th...

wireframe paintjobs and bobbleheads (my xb account has a wireframe thargoid ship bobblehead - i'd love a reissue of those)

erm, those would actually work better for the original Elite aniversary

Well, FE2 is not canon for Elite Dangerous. Nor any of the older Elites.
Also they seem to celebrate the original Elite as the franchise starter and they seem to sort of ignore Elite 2 and 3.

so i forgot to put a link.. wow search for you is a hassle lol :) would you like me to hold your hand then next time you use the lavatory? it really wasnt hard to find :)

IF FE2 isnt Cannon (wich it is btw)..BUT... if they dont class any element of FE2 or FFE... then Frontier should completely KILL Colonia's bubbleoff and especially Jaques Station, and the whole concept of the Federation and the Empire (wich were first introduced into FE2), but your right they ignore the sequels

Technically the Cutter is the old Imp Trader... but yeah i miss the liberator look :)

thats not actually a bad idea... i think flash back and Day of the tentacle back when had that option to play the originials from within the game via a virtual console. so yeah not a bad idea
