Community Event / Creation Frontier: Elite 2 Intro - Dangerous Remake

Over the past couple of weeks I've been helping re-create the Frontier: Elite 2 intro using footage from ED. It's very close to completion and we're all shaking with excitement at the result! Just a few bits need tidying up before we release it to the community.

The plan is to reveal it on my livestream at http://twitch.tv/sharpshifter on Tuesday evening.


I hope to have the other guys on stream too, so I'll update this thread once we've decided on an exact time.

I guess part of that will depend on if the orchestral remake has been finished.

It would be pretty epic to have the new one in there.

Yeah we've talked about having the new version of the theme but not got round to getting in touch with them yet - I think we're in luck though, according to their latest update on 5th December, the orchestral recording is done. I'm sure they won't mind me posting this little snippet:
