Elite / Frontier Frontier Elite 2 "special promotional pack"?

Hey all, I've spent this morning scouring the internet for more information about this version of Elite. I know its the promotional copy of the game, and very hard to come by. (As most promos of games are..). Was wondering if anybody could give me any info about this version? (The amiga one btw). There seems to be very little info online about it. Is it any different to the normal version? Seems to me the only difference is a red sticker on the front. Heres a link to the version I'm talking about:

I actually have one in my possession (along with about a million other Amiga games [also have the original elite :) ). Was thinking about selling it, was wondering if its anything special. Having checked out these forums for the last half hour seems to be the best place to ask. Thanks for any info you guys

Both the regular and promotional versions of software appear to be the same. I would speculate that the promotional version is simply the normal version with a sticker applied. The contents are the same, excepting normal variations such as Kathy inson being named on some of the manuals. I suspect that the promotional versions would have been distributed to games magazines and others for the purpose of review hence the sticker stating that they are not for resale. I have asked David via Twitter and will post his response here (if he remembers anything else)

Is it worth more? To a collector quite possibly, but it is a small variation so only specialist collectors like the Elite Archives would probably seek to acquire it above the regular version, and we already have a copy :)

David has replied that he believes that they were review copies.

Ah thankyou very much Ozoli for your response and getting in touch with David! Really appreciate that.
To be honest I didnt think it was any different, I own the normal Amiga version too and could not notice any difference at all!
