Elite / Frontier Frontier for PC?

Hi all.

I used to play Frontier when I was a kid, loved the game so much. I cant remember why i stopped playing it but it got me into the modern games such as X3 and its earlier versions. But nothing still quite comes close to my early memories of Frontier.

Sadly i dont have my amiga anymore. Is there anywhere that Frontier can be got for the PC? Im running Windows 7. Im guessing it would be expensive.

Also whats this im reading about Elite 4?

Yes, you can get windows frontier for free. I'm sure someone will supply a link.

It'll be people moaning about there being no news, probably.

Hey - welcome to the forum.

Best you can do for Frontier is the following:

Conversely check out here

Elite 4 is currently similar to NASA's future plans for space exploration...

Hi, Welcome and all that....

Steve who posts on here is responsible for the excellent frontierastro site. and once apon a time Frontier Developments did ask for a £5 reg fee. but that was quite a while ago so I'm not sure if it still applies maybe Michael will let us know......:p

Use Steve O's link and download FFE3D you wont be dissapointed.

Thx for the welcome.

I was reading the link to frontierastro, he/she mentions a £5 registration fee to go to Frontier company. Click on the link and i cant find where to do it. Any ideas?

I think that is a legacy thing from when there was an "Elite Club" website maintained (in the loosest possible definition) by Frontier. I believe that it's no longer required. Please correct me if I'm wrong anyone.
