I am giving ya'all to the chance to vote for something so much more important than the rest of the depressing stuff talked about here - whats your food preference out of these options? If you had to eat one, today, for your tea, then which would you go for?

A) First of all, the classic bit of crumpet. Not great for the heart but ten minutes, a toaster, and some butter and you have yourself something delicious.

B) For those who have a functioning pancreas, and who find the current weather to be rather on the stiffling side of hot, we have the delicious and ever eatable ice cream.

C) Something fancy, something nutritious, something tasty and, above all, something pretty bloody expensive. The posh folks love it, it's a filet minon:

D) For the sake of balance this has to be here, but is anyone really going to willingly vote for a salad?

E) Finally, the UK/Heart disease/seriously difficult bowel movement vote:

If I've missed one out then post it.

Quite fancy a curry now...

Even better as I've a night off from the kids I might actually be able to relax and enjoy it.

(This now mean's I'll get home and they'll be there...)

I voted other, Mrs Stigbob has put me on a diet but it's Friday which means junk food. So I'm dry frying some lean lamb steak strips in Greek spices to be served with home made tzatziki and hot chilli sauce in salad filled pitta bread.

MMMMM diet kebab.

Mrs Fuzzy Spider does the opposite. I have 12 cherry bakewells and 12 apple pies to get through, as well as a draw completely covered in jive bars and flakes. I can no longer fasten the top of my jeans when I sit down.

Remind me please, which part of England was it where "tea" in this sense refers to supper? Is it a Middle England thing?

That's how things used to be, since my builders crack got worse she's put her foot down. I've already tightened my belt by 3 notches, no snacking and a main meal of salad at least 4 times a week. I miss Sunday roasts.

The diet kebabs were excellent, would recommend.

Yorkshire as with everything else fantastic.

If a Full English has soggy chips then I think I'll stick with a Full Scottish, featuring Stornoway Black Pudding instead.

OP, that's one of the worst salad I've ever seen.
No joke!

My apologies. I have to confess that my experience with salad is not that expansive. In fact the closest thing I get to a salad now days is my own recipe of banana/beetroot/salad creme on brown bread (it works trust me).

Here is something that looks much better.
