Yes they are very close but had major différents between those two. the biggest one is the headshape .tarbosaurus headshape is closer to alioramus than the t rex but he head Still looks like t rex. like almost every tyrannosauridae (aligators looks like a crocodile but they have still major différents examble headshape crocs are v shaped and gators u shaped). some paleontologist thinks that tarbosaurus migrate from mongolia/china to usa/Canada and adapted/evolved into t rex thats why they are so close related
Same as midern zoos with tigers and lions. Still very similar because they are the same genus. Only that they look different. There are more differences between Tarbosaurus and Tyrannosaurus than between lions and tigers. So Tarbosaurus would be a great addittion to the game
True. There alot of différents between them. People think when paleontologist said they were close related that tarbosaurus bataar was sub species as t rex and look the same but actualy paleontologist speculate that tarbosaurus bataar migrated to noth america and evolved to tyrannosaurus rex. Tarbosaurus has alot of hate towards the species
It would be weird to regroupe tarbosaurus as sub species for t rex since t rex is probably his evolution
