General / Off-Topic Frontier is publishing third party titles

I guess becoming a publisher is a logical progression for their business, and shows that they are eager to expand and grow.

You would hope that being developers themselves they would be sympathetic and understanding publishers. I wonder if this includes them licensing their Cobra engine to those joining the group.

I'm sure frontier would be up for that. More likely these third party publishers will use their own engine or one of the mainstream engines out their, unity or unreal.

If we do start to see other devs to use cobra it likely to happen if a group of devs decide to leave frontier to form their own gaming company and frontier is that group publisher.

If Frontier decide to ever to get into the game engine market, they should use planet coaster and planet zoo as foundations to build entry level drag and drop game engine.
