Frontier, please consider implementing some form of 'loot scavenging'

Even if it means I have to be allied within the jurisdiction and pay 5 million credits for a license for each system I want to scavenge in.

Killing baddies, scooping and selling the loot == fun, its always a fun part of any game out there, people love to pickup and sell the loot they find, in fact in some games it is what provides the addiction that keeps people playing.

Please dont use the 'if you found a wallet in the street' argument as this is a game not real life.

At least this way you would have to earn the right to do it.

:)

Edit - I am talking about cargo only, not modules.

Even in some of the books there is legal and illegal salvage.
I do no which it was but it spoke of 'clearing cargo for legal salvage'.
I took from the story that the trader that got attacked cleared the loot of the attacking pirate with the authority so the BH who saved him could scoop it up.

Doesn't seem that difficult to implement in the game in 1 form or another.

Considering the value of a module it would really imbalance the game further if I can simply take out larger ships and scoop up a Huge Turret and sell for a ginormous amount of money.

I'm talking about cargo not equipment.

As of yet FD does not allow equipment to be stored in your cargo hold, even though it has been asked for allot.

And even if they did... Have you seen the size of large and huge weapons?... Those won't fit threw your cargo scoop.
